Abstract / Description:When looking at upstream processing for influenza A virus production thorough analytics can help to identify adequate process conditions. Typically different cell lines, media , virus subtypes and bioreactors are compared. How the use of comprehensive data sets comprising on-line data, cell numbers, virus titers and extracellular metabolites (carbon & gln metabolism, amino acids) can be used for process optimization will be discussed
