Abstract / Description:A joint project among INAF--Osservatorio Astronomico di Bologna (Italy), Università di Bologna--Dipartimento di Astronomia (Italy) and Max-Planck-Institut für Astronomie (Heidelberg, Germany) led in about one year to the construction of two infrared test cameras for the LBT Observatory. Such cameras will be used to test the performance achieved by the telescope adaptive optics system as well as to prepare the telescope pointing model and to completely test all the focal stations at the Gregorian focus. In the present article the design and the integration of the two test cameras are described. The achieved performances are presented as well.
