Abstract / Description:Within the course of a mid-infrared imaging mini-survey of brown dwarf companions, HD 130948 BC was observed. The object is a binary system itself, consisting of two L4 dwarfs. We imaged HD 130948 BC in three narrow band filters at 8.6, 10.5 and 11.25 mum. At 10.5 mum the target was observed twice, revealing a change in flux of about 1.7 mJy between the two observing dates. In order two investigate this variability we performed follow-up observations in two of the three narrow band filters. For three half nights we monitored the flux of HD 130948 BC at 8.6 and 10.5 mum. Here we report the results of these observations.
