Abstract / Description:Cosmic dust particles are an interesting
system of small particles with sizes on the
nanometer- to micrometer scale. This paper
reviews recent progress in infrared spectroscopy
of cosmic dust. The main topics are laboratory
measurements on cosmic dust analogues and the
spectroscopic characterization of primitive
material in meteorites and interplanetary dust
grains.
