In contrast to hybrid pixel technologies, DEPFET sensors integrate a first amplification stage in the detector. As the signal readout is non-destructive, the DEPFET requires a reset (clear) mechanism. Optimization of the clear mechanism addressing radiation hardness and timing are presented.
